Does writing time feel a little too dependent on YOU?

Maybe your students...

  • 🙋 Need a lot support during independent writing.

Meanwhile, you're trying to help everyone at once.

These struggles are incredibly common...but writing time doesn’t have to stay this way.

Hi, I'm Elyse!👋

I’m a former primary teacher and the creator behind Proud to be Primary.

During my ten years in the classroom, I experienced the same writing struggles you might be dealing with now—students who needed constant help, struggled to come up with ideas, or simply didn’t feel confident as writers.

Over time, I discovered that young writers don’t need us to do the thinking for them. They need simple routines, supportive tools, lots of practice, and the confidence to give it a try.

Those are the strategies I’m excited to share with you in this free training.

My goal is to help you build a writing routine where your students feel more confident and capable—and where you don’t have to be beside them every step of the way. 💗
